Welcome!

Welcome to Foodie on Board! I hope you enjoy exploring my food blog. Many of the recipes here are tried and true – dishes I have been making for years and for which friends and family have often requested the recipes. However, many of the recipes are new discoveries. For me, food and cooking has always been a grand adventure. I have always loved exploring the cuisines of far-flung countries and have kept the doors open to the latest food trends. You see, I believe cooking should be a delight, and I think it can be when we evolve as cooks. This is the beauty of blogging – it brings a whole world of new tastes, textures and fragrances into our kitchens! And the more I blog, the more adventurous I am becoming as a cook. I am constantly being challenged by my fellow bloggers to look at what, and how I cook and to see what new, exiting creations can emerge from my kitchen.

The photographs you see here are my own. I consider myself a student of food photography! I am playing with techniques and equipment, all with the goal of capturing a mouth-watering shot that will send you racing into the kitchen to prepare the recipe!
